Leigh Reporter Story about Cloud4 – 20th September 2012
A Leigh-based business is bucking the trend by increasing turnover in the recession!
There are not many companies that can boast an increase in turnover of 15% per month throughout the UK in these times, and with over 36’000 individual users using their services in 24 countries globally including Australia, USA and Russia, but Cloud4 Computers can.
The company specialises in providing Hosted IT services worldwide but regards its base on Holden Road in Leigh as the perfect location.
Phil Donoghue, Managing Director at Cloud4, explains: “Even though we had a solid business plan in place I have to be honest and say I was still slightly surprised to learn of the actual figures we had achieved month after month.
“It shows that even though the economy is struggling at present, companies globally are trading harder than ever and user numbers are certainly up.
“Our business has been built on the strength of our relationships, the sustainability and suitability of our service and this seems to be rubbing off on our new customers”.
It is predicted that the vast majority of companies around the world will move to this sort of hosted system soon enough, due to the benefits of greatly decreased costs and the additional security for important systems and documents it brings, which is becoming ever more important.
So with Cloud4 already becoming a significant company in the supply and support of these services, business moving forward seems particularly positive. END
Proud to be in Leigh!
At Cloud4 we are proud to be based here in Leigh, when looking for the perfect place to setup our business several years ago, we looked in a number of locations from central Manchester to Warrington and other places. Then we found out we had everything we needed right here at Holden House in Leigh so here we are and this is where we’ll stay, with all our technology housed in various data centers in Manchester and London.
